Janice Borgstrom-Durst is a CPA, EA and Notary Public. She is a partner in our business and has practiced in Kasson since 1976. Janice has been involved in many community activities and has served as past Kasson Youth Hockey President, Kasson Chamber of Commerce Board President, and as a member of the Festival in the Park –Miss Kasson Committee. She’s married to Kenneth, a dairy farmer, and resides in their new home in Kasson. Their 7 children, plus in-laws, and 18 grandchildren keep them very busy.
Danette Baker is a CPA and has been a partner in our business for over 10 years. She’s married to Kurt, who is a pipe-liner and works throughout the U.S. This affords her the opportunity to travel the country during the off season. She has 2 children- Jack, who is a student at NDSU, and Jenna, who is a junior at K-M High.
Renata Ducharme is our Administrative Assistant and has been with our firm since 2010. She assists in every area of our company, working in both a customer service and bookkeeping capacity. She also owns a business with her husband Mike. They have 4 children- Braeden, a graduate of Carleton College, Maison, a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, and Merrick and August who are currently attending Carleton College.
Karla Huse is our receptionist and tax service specialist during the tax season. She’s an exceptional organizer with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. She keeps our office running efficiently and puts the final touch on our clients’ paperwork.
Brian Roney graciously finds time from his supervisor duties at Mayo Clinic to take IRS Tax Law update classes and work evenings and weekends in our office during the tax season. He is integral in assuring that our tax work is accurate and complete.
